A Fabulous Get-Away (Just for Us Girls !)

Ewwww......This past week has been SOOOO stressful!!!! You just wouldn't understand!

My girlfriend Phyllis (aka PP) invited me to join her for a few days at her condo on St. Pete Beach so we could draft our BUSINESS PLAN for the remainder of the Year!!

Let me just say it has been quite an imposition to tolerate these accommodations ...... She has fed me meal after meal after meal, made me lay out in the sun at the beach, near the pool and on the back deck of the condo. She has made me walk 4 miles every morning on the beach and only allowed me to stop for refreshments during the walk on the way back !!

Did I mention that one day she kidnapped me and made me go over to the Hard Rock Casino on the Indian Reservation ????? AND, I was barely able to talk her into keeping enough money to pay the valet to get the car back !!!

THANK GOD FOR LITTLE PAW-PAW (PP's Father). He came over every evening, took us out to a luxurious dinner and didn't even ask us to pay!! Paw-Paw is the BEST !!

So, in closing, just take a look at the place I have had to endure all week ................ it has been tough !! AND, To top it off .... we might have to go back. We didn't get the business plan done ...... didn't even get anything down on paper.

Happy Birthday To .... Mr. Walker (Already, Again ??)

Well, once again, it was Mr. Walker's birthday today. Is it just me, or does it seem that everytime I turn around, all attention is on Mr. Walker ????

Well, today, he turned 43!!!! Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen .... the little boy is becoming a man (if not in maturity, then simply in years).

So -- since Mr. Walker's favorite place is (you guessed it) The Brick Store Pub, I obliged and took him down there for dinner.

Just a low key evening .... you know now that he is getting older, he is not allowed to stay out as late as he use to. He has to get home early to take his Geritol.
