A Date....DANCING WITH THE STARS !!!

Me and My Hunny had a date tonight. We went to the Dancing With The Stars tour at the Gwinnett Arena. It was AWESOME !!!

The dancers and dancing was absolutely amazing --- and to top it off, one of the STARS was a BLAST from my teen-aged years!!! JOEY MCINTYRE!!!

Mr. Walker was not nearly as excited as I think he should have been. Afterall, he got to see in person --- one of my teen idols!! What is wrong with him???? Trust me, I would have shared in his joy if Catherine Bach (the original Daisy Duke) would have been there! I would have even insisted he stay late after the show to see if he could get an autograph!!

I just chalk his lack of enthusiasm over Joey up to his excitement about the popcorn, hot dogs and ice cream he was partaking of....I guess I can forgive him if I try.

Anyway, Joey swooned me with two new songs from his NEW CD (which by the way...coupled with a yummy piece of chocolate would make a FABULOUS Valentines Day present, hint, hint).

What a fabulous night !!

The ACTUAL Celebration !!

So -- with the trip and all, we are just getting around now to the actual BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION !!!

Gatlinburg, TN in the Wintertime...BRRRR !!!

Our friend David's birthday is on Sunday, the 21st....so to help him celebrate, we decided to take a trip to the mountains of Tennessee for the weekend. Gatlinburg is beautiful this time of year with the lights and all, but BOY, was it COLD !!!

Wouldn't you know, we have had quite a mild winter until now ..... just our luck to choose a mountain trip on the coldest weekend of the year so far !!!

On Saturday, Donnie acted as our tour guide and took on a nice SCENIC ride through the forest to Pigeon Forge.....It was beautiful and we all throughly enjoyed seeing the mountains.

Once we arrived in Pigeon Forge, the girls spent the day shopping in the MANY outlet stores while the boys played "Mario Andretti" at the NASCAR Speed Park......I never knew riding GO CARTS would wear you out so much.....I have never heard so much complaining about being "tired" in all my life.....GET TOUGH BOYS !!!

Saturday night we took a leisurely stroll through downtown Gatlinburg and then off to bed right after dinner !!

What a fun trip....can't wait until next time !!

So -- my friend that is so desperate to be on the BLOG ?? Well -- look what she has gone and done now !! She is STALKING Ty Pennington !!

You know -- the HOTTIE from Extreme Makeover ??

Well -- Extreme Makeover is in town redoing a house out in Kennesaw and Sandi's Mother and her boyfriend are helping out on the house....and Sandi was able to get in on the action.

I am JEALOUS !!!!

Golf with Lisa and TEE-Tom !!

We played golf with the PRO -- Lisa and her sidekick Tom today. WHAT FUN !!!

Lisa is really good -- and we all learned a thing or two from her.....too bad I don't seem to be retaining any of my new found knowledge....

I BEST GET BACK TO MY GOLF LESSONS before SUMMER !!!

2006 Regional Awards for KW !!

I am so proud of Mr. Walker !!!

The 2006 Keller Williams Regional Awards have just been announced and Mr. Walker received 2 -- count them -- 2 awards:

#1 -- He is the #1 TOP INDIVIDUAL AGENT in his market center !! That award is calculated on GROSS COMMISSION EARNED for the entire year

AND

#2 -- AND WE ARE MOST PROUD OF THIS ONE !!! Dwayne was awarded the WI4C2TS AWARD. This award is given to ONLY ONE person in the entire market center that demonstrates the most cultural attitude and activities according to the belief of the KW system.

My First-Ever Round of Golf (New Years Day 2007)

I am OFFICIALLY now a GOLFER !!!!!

As way of background, Mr. Walker has gotten back into golf over the last few months and we decided that it would be good if I started playing with him.....now, being that I normally get BORED on the FIRST hole of PUTT PUTT, I was a bit hesitant at first......but nonetheless willing to give it a GOOD TRY !!!

WELL -- I LOVE IT !!!!!! I took my first lesson on New Year's Eve at the PGA Golf Superstore here in Atlanta....and I don't want to brag, but I think I just might be a NATURAL !!!

So -- today, me, Mr. Walker, Donnie, David and Stephen went out for my very first 9 hole round at The Highlands in Conyers.

I did GREAT !!!! (Or at least that is going to be my story !!). The boys were quite impressed I think....I even beat a couple of them on the very FIRST hole!! NOW -- my overall score was lowest out of the 5 of us, but I can't stand to see grown men cry.....so, I took it easy on them THIS time.....

Along about the 7th hole, I noticed that I was in fact doing so well, that I really needed to do something to give the boys a break, so I lobbed my ball into the woods and then proceeded to spend the next 10 minutes looking for it.....finally, David convinced me that we should just leave it wherever it was for the next team to have as a souveneir....I reluctantly agreed, and as I came back out of the woods, I noticed that we had picked up a new player somewhere along the way......

An UMPA LUMPA !!! WHAT FUN !!! You meet all kinds of people while playing this game !!!!!

I can't wait until the next time I get to PLAY !!! Watch out boys !!!!!!
