Winter Wonderland ~~~~~~~~~

Well -- as if we were not happy enough here at our new house ..... today when it snowed, we really thought we were in a cozy little cabin up in the mountains and had our own "winter wonderland."

It was absolutely GORGEOUS .... I wish you all could have seen it in person.

No worries though, I suffered out in the cold to get these gorgeous pictures. AND, Mr. Walker was nice enough to wait on me in the warm, running Hummer while I snapped away. (To make matters worse, I suspect he was even using his seat heater ..... I'm just sayin'..........).

But, I would be remis if I didn't mention that I was scolded a couple of times, when he thought I was taking too long ................ You see ................ he was afraid that the ice might melt on the road, before he had a chance to get out there and try to flip the Hummer over on its side. He had his plan all down ---- if the Hummer didn't perform on the ice just as he thought it should, he was going to take it back and request a refund. FORTUNATELY for the people at the dealership, they dodged that bullet!!!! We slipped and slid around sufficiently on the ice!! Mr. Walker was a very happy all-terrain stunt driver for the day. Whew .... glad it only snows once every 10 years here in GA !!

Happy Birthday TAG !!! WOW -- 15 !!

WOW -- I cannot believe that TAG (aka "mini-me to Mr. Walker") is 15 !!!

Just kidding -- from what I hear, he is a good driver. I just have not yet had the opportunity to turn the keys over to him when I was actually in the car. Mr. Walker took him out the other day and he drove the Hummer -- and from what I hear, he was a natural. I only heard minor whimpering and shrieking coming from the car when Mr. Walker called me from his cell phone. AND -- the Hummer and all occupants made it back home safely .... so I assume all is well that ends well.

So -- tonight, we hosted a "night-time" party for Travis and about 30 of his closest GIRL-friends. I would like to emphasize GIRLS, because I think I may have only briefly seen 2 or 3 other guys the entire evening. MR. WALKER IS SO PROUD, HE IS ABOUT TO BURST !!!!
