WHOA !! That boy can PREACH !!

Yesterday, my big brother David, Jr. was ordained at Mother and Dad's church. It was so much fun to all be together, even though I was roped into singing the old time gospel songs that my Father so loves !!! (Everybody, ought to know....Everybody, ought to know......)(Feel free to sing along !).

Anyway, like I said, David was ordained and he was the guest speaker yesterday (even had his name on the sign out front and everything). BOY -- HE CAN PREACH !!! I am SO PROUD of him ---- I can't believe the entire City of Raleigh isn't attending his church !! He is so good --- he almost persuaded me to holler out "Hallelujah" once or twice.....but Becki with her hanky beside me was doing a fine job....so I left the hootin' and hollerin' to her....although I think she was holding something back. Not once did she wave that hanky over her head like she kept threatening to do !!

I guess I'll have to take a trip to Raleigh to see him preach again !!!

After the service, we all went out to lunch to celebrate my birthday. We went to a place called Bella Pasta in Marietta and it was YUMMY !!! Karen and Roy came to the service and then joined us for lunch as well. It was really good to see them. We all had a fabulous time !!!
